Heating Equipment - Boilers and Heat Pumps
The heating equipment heats the water for the system. There are many brands available and this seems to be constantly growing. We have selected the brands we use based on reliability, cost, supplier support and evidence of “independent testing.”
With any mechanical system, breakdowns cause frustration to all those involved. We select equipment and design systems to minimize the likelihood of frustration.
Our range of heating equipment is categorized by the energy source used. Within each category, there is usually a “standard” efficiency and as with most purchasing decisions, there is often the “upgrade” option.

Hot Water Cylinders
The Sunflow Hot Water Cylinder is manufactured in the U.K. using top grade 2304 stainless steel offering high strength and resistance to stress and crevice corrosion.
The insulation on these cylinders is exceptionally good. The cylinder will lose only 1.34kw of heat / hr per 24 hour period.
The cylinders are 250litres or 300 litres and can be configured to use multiple energy sources. Say gas and solar, electricity and wood….
Single coil - It is a 250 / 300 litre mains pressure stainless steel hot water cylinder with integral heat exchange coil and 3kW back up element for hot water supply security in the event of a gas supply interruption. The cylinder has a 10 year warranty.
Double coil - It is a 250 / 300 litre mains pressure stainless steel hot water cylinder with 2 x integral heat exchange coils and 3kW back up element for hot water supply security in the event of a gas supply interruption. One coil is for the use of gas and the second is for the solar option. The cylinder has a 10 year warranty.
